HARIDWAR – UTTARKASHI

As soon as you reach Uttarkashi, go to your booked hotel and after sometime come out from hotel and go to visit the famous Vishwanath temple. Night stay at Uttarkashi after this.

Uttarkashi is a town located on the banks of river Bhagirathi. Vishwanath temple is a temple which is visited enthusiastically by tourists because it is built around a huge iron trishula. Temples situated here are very unique, some of them which you should visit are: – Annapurna devi, ekdashrudra, bhairav, gyaneshwar and goddess kuteti devi temple.

UTTARKASHI – GANGOTRI – UTTARKASHI

Your next travel destination will Gangotri, which is commonly known as the origin point of river ganga. On the way you are going to visit the incredible harshil village, Bhagirathi River is also a place to see here and the view of himalayas from this river are mesmerizing. Once you are done with darshan of Gangotri, start your return journey towards Uttarkashi. Have a night long halt at Uttarkashi after this.

UTTARKASHI GUPTKASHI

Next fine morning, start with your drive towards guptkashi and when you reach there move towards your hotel. Stay night long there.

GUPTKASHI – KEDARNATH

Next day, start your day with a drive towards sonprayag, which is commonly known as the starting point for trek to kedarnath, which is 3585 mts. Complete the trek by walking on your foot or through doli. All the devotees will be allowed to carry their personal medications, warm clothes and other utilities upwards to kedarnath. Move towards your hotel booked and after sometime pay a visit at kedarnath temple. Later travel to guptkashi and sleep there for night.

GUPTKASHI – BADRINATH

Start your drive towards Badrinath by crossing the city of joshimath. Move towards your hotel. Make a evening visit to the great Badrinath temple aarti. Stay for night there. Out of the “four dhams” in our country Badrinath is the most visited and liked dham by the devotees. It is situated at the height of 3133 mts from the sea level. It is surrounded by the two mountain ranges of Nar and Narayan from each side and this adds to the beauty of the city. Neelkanth mountain is also visible from here which is again a very sacred place. This place, once used to be covered with wild berries and from here the place got it’s name “Badri van”. Which means “forest of berries”.

BADRINATH – JOSHIMATH – RUDRAPRAYAG

Next day have a fresh start and go for a bath at the taptkund, where you can relax you body by dipping in hot spring water. After this, go for the badrivishal darshan. Brahmakamal is the next place where devotees go after the darshan, because here happens the pinddanshraddh of ancestors. More places like:- mana, vyas gufa, charan paduka, maatamoorti and bhimkund and mukh of river saraswati are the places where devotees love to go. These places are situated very close to badrinathji. Drive back towards rudraprayag and cross joshimath in between. Go to the booked hotel there.

RUDRAPRAYAG – HARIDWAR

Following day, move towards Rishikesh. Make your way to booked hotel there. Go to explore local spots of holy city Rishikesh. You will have to stay night long in Rishikesh. This sacred city is also called “place of sages”. Holy river ganga flows through the town. Shivalik mountain ranges cover it from 3 sides. This city is considered the place of saints and rishis from ancient times. Story of this town is that:- a rishi named Raibhya harmed himself to a great extent. So, the lord came down on earth to meet their devotee on earth by the name of “Hrishikesh” and from there place came to be known as Rishikesh. Go for visiting temples and other sites like :- Ram jhula, Laxman jhula, triveni ghat, bharat mandir and parmarth ashram. After this, drive towards Haridwar and there you will be dropped at railway station. After this, trip will come to an end.
