About us – Almost everyone knows about Char Dham Yatra, so there is nothing much to talk about. This is a journey that will take you towards “Moksha”. For every Hindu, this is significant holy shrine. These are the four sacred destinations in Uttarakhand. In this there are few small circuits available: Badrinath, Kedarnath, Yamunotri and Gangotri. All together called Chhota Char Dham Yatra.

 

This Char Dham Yatra 2024 concept became popular after the Indo-China war in 1962; after that, infrastructure started getting developed. Road condition has become improved, and it has become easier to reach all holy shrines through that road. After that, this Char Dham has got replace with the original Char Dham.

 

Char Dham Yatra 2024 itineraryis maintain in such a way that you can select whichever place you want to visit. Sometimes due to fewer holiday, people cannot travel for the longer days they look for customization. We are ready for any customization. Every pilgrim can be covered by buses or jeeps if you want to go by helicopter, that also can be done.

 

Yamunotri Yatra gets open around 6 am and it will be open till 8 pm. There is a time for aarti 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. You can also visit Saptrishi Kund, which is the actual source of river the Yamuna, and it is located at an altitude of 4421 meters above sea level. You can even see the Surya Kund, where you may get much thermal springs. There is a belief that Goddess Yamuna stays with her beloved daughter Sangya.

 

Gangotri Yatra  is dedicated to Goddess Ganga, and there is a Gangotri temple built-in the 18th century by Amar Singh Thapa. It gets open 6:30 am to 2 pm. If you want to see aarti, you need to reach there by 3.00 pm to 9.30 pm. There is a holy rock where King Bhagirath prayed for Lord Shiva. As per Hindu mythology, Goddess Shiva sat to take Ganga in his lock. You can also enjoy trekking here around 1.5 km, and reach the Pandava Gufa where they used to meditate before starting a journey to Kailash.

 

Kedarnath Temple was built in the 8th century by Adi Shankaracharya. There is a saying that it is built by Pandavas. There is a conical rock formation inside the temple, which they used to worship,and this is the one form of Lord Shiva. Kedarnath Yatra gets open around 6.30 am to 3 pm. Aarti’s time is 5.00 PM to 9.30 PM. There is a saying that the eldest Pandava Yudhisthir departed to heaven from this place. You can even visit Shankaracharya Samadhi which is located near to the Kedarnath. In this place, only Adi Shankaracharya has taken his Samadhi.

 

Badrinath Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Behind this, there is a story where Shankaracharya discovered black Saligram stone, and the image was Lord Vishnu in the Lord Badrinarayan form. In the 16th century Garhwal king moved the stone idol, and made their temple. Badrinath Yatra opening hours of this temple is 4:30 am to 1 pm and aarti time 10:30 am to 11:00 am. You can also view the waterfall called Vasudhara falls. There is a belief that this waterfalls change its turn if visitors hurt is not pure.
